Just a write up on a movie... or a review...

Let me start by telling you first about what this is about, it’s about a movie which I just finished watching today, it’s called ‘Serendipity’. The movie is a typical make of perfect hindi movie drama in english and although has not received a review of more than 38% but what makes it different is the way it’s been picturized. The story leaves the audience with a kaleidoscopic view of analyzing the drama to get a picture which is completely different and unique. The word ‘Serendipity’ basically was coined in January 28, 1754 by an English author ‘Horace Walpole’, it’s basically derived from ‘serendip’ an old name for ‘Sri Lanka’, based on ‘a silly fairy tale, called The Three Princes of Serendip’, it means ‘to make discoveries by accidents and sagacity of things which were not in pursuit of. On a more broader perspective it refers to a phenomenon which is unexplainable and occurs in anyones life – ‘ a perfect sequence of events’. The movie is about ‘Jonathan’ (John Cusack) and ‘Sarah’ (Kate Beckinsale) who happen to meet at a shop for an instance and know each other by tussling over the only pair of black cashmere gloves on display and then the movie goes on to leap 5 yrs ahead of time when it’s their wedding. The movie is good enough to keep you glued to the screen and has some good comedy too, good for a one time watch.
