On the eve of Republic Day!

Well, two incidents, but one city -

1. Sometime back, I remember, I was boarding a best bus, one of my hands was fractured and I had plaster on it, making it completely unusable. It was busy day and there was a huge rush. The bus was all packed and there was no space to stand, obviously seating was all packed as well. I got myself to one position, standing to rest near one of the steel support bars. When you board these buses, you literally rush to find a seat, the crowd has it in them. They wouldn't spare the moment to get an empty one out there and all are used to the same act. In such conditions, people to struggle on standing if the way is long before they reach their destination. What I noticed in the next few seconds, changed my perception greatly. People rushed in as usual, but immediately see me standing 2-3 people who were seated, started to get up voluntarily. I said, I was fine but one of them made me sit. It was a long way, but they never thought a second time when getting up.
2. Another incident just today, a conductor comes in a bus, asks a man seated next to me with his young child for ticket. The man asks how much gives the conductor money, he say's one ticket. The man had 2 in his family, one was a child, the man asks - 'Do I not have to pay for the child?', the conductor asks - 'What is her age, and tells if she is below an age he doesn't have to', the person immediately responds, my child is a month older - 'Can I have a ticket?', few of the people smile - 'The conductor said, yes you may but its' fine, dont' say she is over one month' - gives one ticket and the money back.

Both the incidents happened in Mumbai. Both relate to a thing called as - 'Human aspect' - as long as we have a people with such a vibe, and a country with such people, these small incidents make all happy and a country great! Proud to be a part of such a nation.
- Happy Republic Day to all!
